About
Jake Colletti
I'm an actor and model based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with residual income that keeps my schedule open for work — including travel nationwide or internationally when a project calls for it. At 6'3" and 240 pounds I cut an imposing figure on camera, but the first thing people usually notice is a goofy, approachable energy that disarms the room fast.
My look changes the whole casting read. A buzz cut and goatee comes off criminal or ex-military. A long mullet and full beard feels Southern or backwoods. A regular mullet with stubble and bare feet gives traveler or stoner. Medium hair, cleaned up and clean-shaven or lightly stubbled, feels sophisticated or leading-man.
I'm especially drawn to comedy, science fiction, fantasy, historical drama and period work, and to character-driven supporting roles where size is part of the joke or part of the threat. I'm equally happy in commercial and lifestyle work, grounded drama, and anything physically demanding.
My training started with acting classes and theater at The Bolles School — including Biff in Death of a Salesman — along with Shakespeare monologue work and ongoing performance training. I've also worked on professional film and television sets, so a call sheet and a long day on location aren't new to me.
Away from set I keep things simple: lifting, swimming, skiing, mountain biking, dirt bikes, hiking, cooking, Muay Thai, occasional Sunday longsword training, reading, video games, and a steady diet of mid-2000s to early-2010s comedy. Most of it happens to be useful on camera, so I can usually pick up or match a physical activity quickly rather than fake it.
